About these terms
This website is operated by AK K9 Security Services Ltd. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
What this site is for
The site describes the services we offer and lets you request a quote. It is information and a point of contact, nothing on it is a binding offer.
Quotes and enquiries
- Submitting the contact form does not create a contract, and does not reserve or book any resource.
- Any price we give is an estimate until confirmed in a written quote. Most work requires a site survey first, because cost depends on the property, the risk and the hours actually needed.
- A contract begins only when we issue a written agreement and you accept it.
Accuracy of information
We keep the site accurate and current. Every compliance claim on it (SIA licensing, NASDU membership, BS8517, Guard Dogs Act 1975) is one we can evidence on request. We do not warrant that the site is free of errors or always available, and we may change its content at any time.
Nothing here is professional security advice for your specific premises. Ask us for a survey and we will assess your site properly.
Your responsibilities
When using this site you must not:
- submit false, misleading or third-party details without permission;
- use the contact form to send unsolicited marketing, bulk messages or anything unlawful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or interfere with its availability;
- copy or republish our content without our written permission.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, graphics and logos on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own use in assessing our services. Any other use requires our written consent.
Links to other sites
Where we link to third parties, a certifying body, a regulator, we do so for reference. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, or for loss caused by relying on general information in place of a survey.
Liability in relation to security services we actually provide is dealt with in the service agreement, not here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
